Upgrade

Just want to let you know that I'm searching for an upgrade for my camera. I'm using a Canon EOS350D, also called Canon Rebel XT. But, I can't decide what to buy; a 40D/50D or a 5DmkII. Can you help me decide (by posting some tips)?
